Spring Tournaments Added - 13u, 14u

Due to popular demand in 13u and 14u Ripken Baseball spring tournaments, satellite pools have been added to several April, May and June weekend tournaments in Aberdeen, MD.

Teams will play all three pool play games at the Cecil Sports Complex, an off-site, high quality satellite complex. These new teams will play in the same division, with the winner of the division moving on to the semifinals. Championships will be played at the Ripken Baseball Academy in Aberdeen, MD.

2009 Fall Tournaments

Attention all tournament coaches: The age-cut off for all spring and summer Ripken tournaments is April 30, 2009. However, for our Fall Tournaments, the age cut-off is April 30, 2010. What this means is that a 11u team playing in a summer tournament will then play up as a 12u team, effective August 29, 2009. Please call before registering if you have any questions about these age rules.

Have you ever been to Aberdeen, Maryland? No? Well if you're a diehard baseball fan or youth baseball parent I suggest you consider making plans to stop through or stay for a night. In the past 3 years what was once a quaint stop off of Interstate 95 has quickly become a destination for children, families, and teams to play, learn and cherish the game of baseball.

The Ripken Academy consists of a youth-sized version of Oriole Park at Camden Yards, known as Cal Sr.'s Yard and youth-sized replicas of Wrigley Field, Fenway Park and Memorial Stadium. The Academy boasts a one-of-a-kind circular training infield, batting cages and a tee/soft-toss area.

Tournaments in Aberdeen include:
